Augusta Expo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing access to art, culture, agricultural and educational programs for the diverse residents of the Shenandoah Valley and others who seek access to our community.

Under the Governor's Order, Expo is closed for events through mid-June. During this closure, by contract, we are keeping the facility ready and available for use as a designated disaster center for our local hospital and utilities if the need arises. To do so, we are incurring fixed expenses of $7,500 per month.
With no income from the first of March through probably August, to meet our current need the Board of Directors has established a Pandemic Fund to which all directors have pledged, along with seeking grants and other contributions. The challenge is for all members, event users, friends and neighbors to donate to the Pandemic Fund to keep Expo available if needed by the hospital and strong for future re-opening.
